Lead Therapist for the Under 5's Social Communication Pathway

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Occupational Therapist or Speech and Language Therapist to lead our Under 5s Social Communication Pathway in Tower Hamlets. This role combines clinical expertise with service development, team leadership, and multi-disciplinary working.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement a specialist intervention pathway for children with social communication difficulties under 5 years old.
- Work closely with partner organisations to provide targeted interventions for families in Family Hubs.
- Support early years settings to provide effective provision for children with social communication differences.
- Collaborate with the autism assessment service to ensure seamless referrals and support.
- Provide advice on education, health, and care needs assessments.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and develop a pathway that addresses the needs of children with social communication difficulties. You will work closely with other therapy leads and partner organisations to achieve this goal.
Requirements- Qualified speech and language therapist or occupational therapist.
- Experience of working with children with social communication difficulties in a community setting.
- Experience of leading and managing a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Digital literacy skills equivalent to Level 2 across all domains in the NHS Health and Care Digital Capabilities Framework.
