Lead Therapist for the Under 5's Social Communication Pathway

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Therapist Leader to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Under 5's Social Communication Pathway, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective interventions for children with social communication difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of the Under 5's Social Communication Pathway, working closely with our therapy team and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, evidence-based interventions for children with social communication difficulties.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our partner organizations, including early years settings and schools, to ensure effective referrals and support.
- Contribute to the development of our therapy services, including audit, quality improvement, and service development.
- Line manage and support a team of therapists, providing coaching and guidance to ensure excellent practice.
- Qualified speech and language therapist or occupational therapist with experience of leading a team and developing pathways.
- Experience of working with children with social communication difficulties in a community setting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work unsupervised and use initiative.
- Digital literacy skills equivalent to Level 2 across all domains in the NHS Health and Care Digital Capabilities Framework.
