Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our Computing Research Group, focusing on the application of High Performance Computing to accelerate Artificial Intelligence and Genomics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and profile code to identify performance bottlenecks
  • Develop and optimize parallel and distributed computing techniques for large-scale graph computations
  • Optimize algorithms for heterogeneous architectures, including CPU + GPU and Fujitsu's Arm-based A64FX processor

Requirements

  • PhD or equivalent post-graduate qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience with High Performance Computing techniques, including MPI, OpenMP, and Intel TBB
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages
  • A track record of publishing academic research
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desirable skills:
    • Experience with Graph Neural Networks and graph databases
    • Background in healthcare-related fields, such as cell simulation, bio-informatics, or genomics
