We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our Computing Research Group at Fujitsu Research of Europe. As a High Performance Computing Researcher, you will play a key role in exploring the application of High Performance Computing to accelerate applications at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Genomics.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and profile code to identify performance bottlenecks
- Develop and implement parallel and distributed computing techniques to accelerate algorithms, particularly those dealing with large-scale graph computations
- Optimize code for heterogeneous architectures, including CPU + GPU and Fujitsu's Arm-based A64FX processor
- PhD or equivalent post-graduate qualification in a relevant field
- Experience with High Performance Computing techniques, including MPI, OpenMP, and Intel TBB
- High proficiency in one or more programming languages
- Track record of publishing academic research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desirable skills: experience with graph-based algorithms, knowledge graphs, and graph databases, as well as experience in healthcare-related fields such as cell simulation, bioinformatics, or genomics
