Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our Computing Research Group at Fujitsu Research of Europe. As a researcher in High Performance Computing, you will play a key role in exploring the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Genomics, leveraging High Performance Computing to accelerate applications.


Your Key Responsibilities


  • Analyze and profile code to identify performance bottlenecks
  • Develop and apply parallel and distributed computing techniques to accelerate algorithms, particularly those involving large-scale graph computations
  • Optimize code for heterogeneous architectures, including CPU + GPU and Fujitsu's Arm-based A64FX processor


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A PhD or equivalent post-graduate qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience with High Performance Computing techniques, including MPI, OpenMP, and Intel TBB
  • High proficiency in one or more programming languages
  • A track record of publishing academic research
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Optional but desirable skills include experience with Graph Neural Networks, knowledge graphs, and graph databases, as well as a background in healthcare-related fields such as cell simulation, bio-informatics, or genomics
