Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cruise Industry Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our reservations and guest services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our travel partners and guests, both on the telephone and via email.

You will be the primary point of contact for our UK, European, and Middle Eastern markets, and will be responsible for managing email inboxes, responding to incoming emails, and selling and processing cruise bookings.

As a Cruise Industry Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing business, and will be part of a team that is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our travel partners and guests, both on the telephone and via email.
  • Manage email inboxes and respond to incoming emails in a timely manner.
  • Sell and process cruise bookings from travel agents and direct clients.
  • Drive sales and provide high-level customer service.
  • Show knowledge of our product and be able to answer questions and resolve issues.
  • Book and amend flights using Sabre.
  • Add hotels, transfers, and shore excursions to bookings using NVS software.
  • Liaise with other departments as necessary.
  • Participate in consumer events, exhibitions, and ship visits as required.
  • Liaise with our US office as necessary.
Requirements
  • Multi-task orientated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Travel industry and general geographical knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a small team.
  • Customer service or sales background, preferably with a minimum of two years' experience.
  • Clear and concise grammar in all written communications and booking notes.
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
  • Flexible and adaptable to company requirements.
