Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cruise Industry Coordinator. As a key member of our reservations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our travel partners and guests, ensuring seamless booking experiences and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day support to travel agents and guests, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage email inboxes and respond to incoming emails, ensuring prompt and accurate communication.
- Sell and process cruise bookings from travel agents and direct clients, driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Utilize Sabre and NVS software to book and amend flights, hotels, transfers, and shore excursions.
- Liaise with other departments as needed, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Participate in consumer events, exhibitions, and ship visits, representing Oceania Cruises and promoting our brand.
- Liaise with the US office as required, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Multi-tasking and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a professional telephone manner.
- Computer literacy, with experience using Microsoft Office and travel industry software.
- Travel industry knowledge and general geographical awareness.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Bank Holidays on a rota basis.
