Cruise Operations Coordinator

Job Summary
This role is responsible for providing operational support to the Cruise Manager, ensuring the smooth delivery of services to clients. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Main Responsibilities
- Proactive and reactive scheduling, supporting the Cruise Manager with daily operations and day-before preparation for scheduled cruises.
- Manage the delivery of jobs allocated to the Core/Cruise operation, ensuring first-time fixes for customers and maintaining high service levels.
- Ensure all systems and equipment are checked in line with procedure, and prompt action is taken to rectify any issues.
- Coordinate staffing levels for day-to-day activity across ships, ensuring accurate requirements from clients are met.
- Provide management support outside of core hours, as required.
- Produce daily activity reports for the Cruise Manager or Operations Manager.
- Work with the Cruise Manager to ensure regular updates are communicated to all staff.
- Ensure effective time-keeping and investigate any instances of lateness or absenteeism.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an operational role.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Good commercial skills, high-level numeracy and literacy skills.
- Excellent report-writing and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
