Child Welfare Team Leaders

We are seeking skilled Child Welfare Team Leaders with a background in Social Care or those aspiring to advance from senior Social Worker roles, equipped with management and supervisory expertise, to contribute to our Children's Social Work Teams and support our mission for all children, young people, and families.

Applicants must be registered social workers with Social Work England and possess substantial post-qualification experience in working with children and families within the statutory sector.

Our Children's Service Directorate employs a systemic approach to practice, ensuring that the voices of children are central to our operations. You will be responsible for embedding this approach as a fundamental principle within your teams. The ability to foster effective relationships, exhibit strong assessment and analytical capabilities, and collaborate efficiently as part of a management team is essential.
