A distinguished Local Authority in the Home Counties is looking for a Child Welfare Advocate to become part of their team on a temporary basis.

This role presents an excellent opportunity to engage with a supportive and expanding team in a full-time capacity. The position is office-based, representing the Local Authority during multi-day hearings.

Responsibilities of the Child Welfare Advocate

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating initial hearings, case management sessions, contested initial hearings, and Final Hearings.
  • Establishing and nurturing positive working relationships with the Court.

Candidate Profile

The organization seeks to recruit a Child Welfare Advocate who possesses:

  • Proven experience in advocacy
  • Experience in managing multi-day trials
