About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child and Youth Welfare Specialist to join our team at the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. As a key member of our Childline service, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people who contact us for help and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support and guidance to children and young people through our Childline service, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to deliver a consistent and effective service, responding to contacts and making key safeguarding decisions.
  • Lead on coaching and supervision, developing the skills and confidence of our volunteers to provide the best possible service.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of care and protection.
