About Our Service User

Our service user is an extraordinary 10-year-old boy residing with his family and requires assistance throughout the day on a one-on-one basis due to his complex care needs.

Your responsibilities will include aiding him with his complex care requirements in both home and educational settings. This is a fulfilling opportunity to play a crucial role in his daily life, enhancing his development, well-being, and joy.

He enjoys attending school, socializing with friends, teachers, and caregivers. He delights in various sensory activities and loves exploring the community. You will engage him in enjoyable and stimulating pursuits both at home and school, encouraging social interaction and physical activity.

Throughout the day, your duties will encompass supporting him with all daily living tasks, including personal care, mobility assistance, making clinical observations, and addressing his clinical care needs as necessary.

Our service user has specifically requested female staff to join their team

To excel in this position, it is essential that you have experience with the following:

A minimum of 3 months prior care experience Personal care Mobility Assistance Medication Management Pet Friendly - Our service user has two family cats at home.

Experience with the following clinical needs is preferred, but not essential for consideration:

Gastrostomy Care Oral Suctioning Seizure Awareness

Available Shifts

Part-Time Day Shifts One shift per week (Monday-Friday) Term Time Only: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Additional Shifts Available

Compensation Details

For this role, we offer a competitive pay rate of £13.00 per hour (approximately £104 for an 8-hour shift).

Bank Holidays: £15.00 per hour (approximately £120 for an 8-hour shift).

This role is personally rewarding, allowing you to enhance your clinical skills and experience while providing exceptional care and support to our service users, truly making a difference in their daily lives.
