Responsibilities
  • Delivering evidence-based dietetic assessments, interventions, and counseling to pediatric patients and their families.
  • Developing and implementing individualized nutrition plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
  • Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Providing education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on various aspects of pediatric nutrition.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols related to pediatric dietetics.
  • Participating in research activities and audits to enhance the quality of care provided.
Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A recognized qualification in Dietetics (e.g., BSc, MSc).
  • Registration with the British Dietetic Association (BDA) is essential.
  • Significant experience working as a Paediatric Dietitian within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric nutrition principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teaching abilities.
