Key Responsibilities
Developing Range Structure Proposals: Assess market trends, consumer behavior, and sales analytics to uncover opportunities and create range structures that align with brand identity and target demographics. Present proposals that detail assortment strategies, pricing models, and essential product attributes.

Delivering Engaging Presentations: Craft visually appealing presentations that effectively convey departmental trade strategies. Clearly explain the rationale behind proposals, integrating data and insights. Address stakeholder inquiries with confidence and clarity.

Evaluating Performance and Suggesting Strategies: Review past season performance, departmental metrics, and supplier outcomes. Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, proposing strategies to bridge performance gaps and leverage opportunities.

Fostering Supplier Relationships: Build open lines of communication and collaboration with suppliers, establishing trust and transparency in negotiations. Drive new business initiatives and recruitment to enhance growth.

Planning and Monitoring Production Capacity: Accurately forecast demand to organize capacity and production schedules. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely material reservations and production, regularly reviewing progress against targets and adjusting plans as necessary.

Maintaining Merchandise Systems: Ensure precision in merchandise systems through regular data updates. Conduct audits to identify and rectify discrepancies.

Mentoring Trainees and Overseeing Tasks: Provide clear guidance and support to trainees, establishing expectations and objectives. Delegate tasks effectively, offering guidance and feedback as required. Monitor progress and provide coaching to help trainees enhance their skills and confidence.

Managing Expenditures: Regularly review budgets to track spending and identify cost-saving opportunities. Analyze spending patterns and implement strategies to optimize resource allocation. Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to achieve cost efficiencies.

Tracking In-Season Performance: Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and markdowns throughout the season. Identify trends and patterns to make informed decisions and adjustments. Implement strategies to maximize profitability and minimize risks.

Communication Proficiency: Clearly express ideas, proposals, and strategies to stakeholders in both verbal and written formats. Promote open communication within the team, ensuring alignment.
