Our company is currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team at MKM Building Supplies.
In this position, you will play a key role in the sale of our full range of building products, taking a proactive approach to help drive this part of the business forward.
Your overall aim will be to establish and grow our customer base, maximise sales and profit and make MKM Building Supplies the place of choice for all building supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow the customer base by identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with key customers.
- Provide quotations for customers and negotiate prices to ensure maximum profitability.
- Purchase materials and manage stock levels for the category to ensure efficient supply chain management.
- Deal with customers both face to face and over the telephone to provide excellent customer service and sound product advice.
- Take a proactive approach to building sales, using every opportunity to make or increase a sale.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Sound knowledge of building materials and products.
- Previous sales experience in a builder's merchant environment is essential.
- Account management and solid sales experience is essential.
- Confident dealing with customers and building great customer relationships.
- Good telephone manner, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate and proficient in using sales software.
