Job Title: Support Worker - Wellbeing Services

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our Wellbeing Services team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support and practical assistance to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality emotional support and listening skills to individuals, promoting a sense of calm and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver a comprehensive support service, ensuring the needs of service users are met.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual support plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service user interactions, progress, and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • High level of listening and communication skills, verbal and written, including within a group setting.
  • Able to empathise, be supportive, and sensitive to the needs of others.
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and databases.
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a team, work on own initiative, and manage own workload.
