Student Hub Assistant

University of the West of Scotland is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our London Hub team as a Student Hub Assistant. This exciting opportunity will enable you to work closely with students, providing exceptional support and guidance to ensure their academic success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide responsive and customer-focused support to students via various communication channels, including face-to-face, phone, chat, and email.
  • Assist in the production of reports for senior management to ensure that UWS processes and procedures are effective and efficient.
  • Utilize initiative and autonomy to provide day-to-day support and information to students, responding proactively to non-routine, sensitive, or complex customer enquiries.
  • Organize and prepare resources for students on behalf of the university, such as letters and requested information.
  • Consistently meet and strive to exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to response times, resolution rates, student satisfaction, and other service metrics.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications, such as school, college, or university qualifications.
  • Excellent customer service or student service experience, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Ability to work in a helpdesk-style role and perform tasks related to customer service or workflow-style customer systems.
  • Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
