Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the HR Business Partner by providing comprehensive support on various employee relations matters.
- Deliver effective guidance to employees regarding company policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Foster a positive employee relations culture by coaching and developing managers in their people management roles.
- Offer operational support and advice on employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and appeals.
- Support redundancy consultation processes and TUPE as needed.
- Manage absence effectively, identifying and resolving complex cases, and monitoring KPIs to propose preventive strategies.
- Handle a designated caseload of employee relations issues.
- Assist teams in navigating organizational changes and implementing new structures and processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation to provide accurate guidance to management.
- Collaborate with management to enhance performance on key people metrics.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar employee relations or HR role.
- Proficient in managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and redundancy.
- Current knowledge of employment legislation, including GDPR.
- Exhibit a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Possess resilience, flexibility, and confidence in approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Capable of managing and prioritizing a diverse workload.
- Excellent stakeholder and change management abilities.
- Good analytical and systems skills.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- Problem-solving skills in a dynamic business environment.
