Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the HR Business Partner by providing comprehensive support on various employee relations matters.
  • Deliver effective guidance to employees regarding company policies, procedures, and employment law.
  • Foster a positive employee relations culture by coaching and developing managers in their people management roles.
  • Offer operational support and advice on employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and appeals.
  • Support redundancy consultation processes and TUPE as needed.
  • Manage absence effectively, identifying and resolving complex cases, and monitoring KPIs to propose preventive strategies.
  • Handle a designated caseload of employee relations issues.
  • Assist teams in navigating organizational changes and implementing new structures and processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation to provide accurate guidance to management.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance performance on key people metrics.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar employee relations or HR role.
  • Proficient in managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and redundancy.
  • Current knowledge of employment legislation, including GDPR.
  • Exhibit a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Possess resilience, flexibility, and confidence in approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Capable of managing and prioritizing a diverse workload.
  • Excellent stakeholder and change management abilities.
  • Good analytical and systems skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Problem-solving skills in a dynamic business environment.
