Job Title: Retail Associate

About the Position: We are looking for a dependable and motivated Retail Associate to become a part of our team at Adamas Lux. In this role, you will assist in the everyday functions of the retail environment, support customers with their inquiries, and ensure that the store is organized and operates smoothly. Your contribution will be vital in enhancing the shopping experience and driving the success of our establishment.

Key Duties:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by welcoming and assisting shoppers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Accurately process sales transactions using the point-of-sale system, including managing cash, credit, and debit card payments.
  • Uphold store aesthetics by arranging merchandise, overseeing displays, and ensuring that shelves are stocked and tidy.
  • Assist with the receipt, unpacking, and organization of inventory, while managing stock replenishment on the sales floor.
  • Address customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges in accordance with store policies, striving to resolve issues effectively.
  • Support store operations by engaging in stocktaking, reporting discrepancies, and addressing maintenance concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet store objectives and foster a positive work atmosphere.
  • Help set up promotional displays and special events, including updating signage and interacting with customers.
  • Ensure the store environment is clean, safe, and inviting, including managing fitting rooms and tidying as necessary.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to remain informed about product knowledge, company policies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in retail management is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a retail or customer service position is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  • A positive demeanor, enthusiasm for retail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
