Job Overview

At NHS Blood and Transplant, we play a crucial role in the collection and distribution of blood, organs, tissues, and stem cells, while also engaging in innovative research and providing specialized services to healthcare facilities. Our mission relies on the dedication of various volunteer donors, and it requires a diverse team to facilitate our life-saving initiatives.

Are you eager to contribute to this essential work and embark on a fulfilling career within the NHS? If so, we invite you to explore this opportunity.

Join us during an exciting phase as we prepare to launch our new Blood Donation Centre. You will initially be part of our mobile donation team, ensuring that we continue to meet the needs of our community.

Full-day shifts last 10 hours (including breaks), with early shifts from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and late shifts from 10:30 am to 8:30 pm. We prioritize work-life balance and encourage applications from individuals interested in flexible working arrangements, such as fixed days or shifts.

Upon joining our team, you will receive comprehensive training, including 8 weeks of dedicated instruction with one of our mobile donation teams. While we prefer full-time training, we are open to discussing flexible arrangements tailored to your needs.

All interviews for this position will be conducted in person, and attendance is required.
