Job Title: Regional Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director to lead our Northern Ireland team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering our vision and objectives in the region.

About the Role

The Regional Director will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to raise awareness of civil engineering and the ICE's role in infrastructure development.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders in NI, including government, industry bodies and academia.
  • Providing expert commentary on civil engineering and infrastructure issues, acting as an ICE spokesperson when necessary.
  • Overseeing the delivery of regional events and activities, ensuring they are high-quality and meet member needs.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

  • Significant experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, construction or related sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing a team and working with volunteers.
  • Experience in business planning, budgeting and financial management.
  • Excellent relationship building, communication and influencing skills at a senior level.
  • Experience in project management and event delivery.
  • Experience of interaction with infrastructure stakeholders.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £55K per annum, plus a £6K car allowance. You will also have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with 2-3 days per week in the office and the rest remote. Our benefits package includes 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, and an annual £100 allowance towards your wellbeing.
