Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Director to lead and manage the activities of our Northern Ireland regional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) vision, core purpose, and objectives in the region, ensuring the effective implementation of the ICE Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement strategies to raise awareness of civil engineering and the ICE's role in infrastructure development.
* Provide expert commentary on civil engineering and infrastructure issues, acting as an ICE spokesperson when necessary.
* Collaborate with other ICE regions and external bodies to share best practices.
* Oversee the delivery of regional events and activities, ensuring they are high-quality and meet member needs.
* Prepare and manage the regional budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

* Significant experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, construction, or related sectors.
* Proven track record of managing a team and working with volunteers.
* Experience in business planning, budgeting, and financial management.
* Excellent relationship building, communication, and influencing skills at a senior level.
* Experience in project management and event delivery.
* Experience of interaction with infrastructure stakeholders.
* Passion for civil and infrastructure engineering and a commitment to promoting the profession.
