Trade Sales Assistant

Salary: 26,000

Hours: Monday to Saturday, days a week

The role of the Trade Sales Assistant is to support the Branch Manager with the following tasks:

Sales Duties
  1. Deliver exceptional customer service that exceeds all customer expectations.
  2. Approach customers ensuring they are dealt with efficiently, courteously, and promptly.
  3. Handle customers' orders and queries in a confident, efficient, and professional manner.
  4. Maintain comprehensive product knowledge.
  5. Identify improvements to processes to enhance customer service, reduce costs, and improve margin.
  6. Match customer needs to the best product available, considering upselling and stock levels.
  7. Check off all deliveries accurately and promptly, ensuring relevant paperwork is passed on efficiently.
  8. Resolve any customer issues/enquiries to a satisfactory conclusion.
  9. Create effective, up-to-date displays in the showroom, ensuring all products are clearly coded, priced, and well presented.
  10. Process specific customer requirements efficiently and promptly to meet delivery promises.
  11. Ensure all promises made to customers are realistic, achievable, and completed.
  12. Be prepared to deputize effectively in the absence of the Branch Manager or Assistant Manager.
