Si Recruitment Limited, a reputable firm in the financial services sector, is seeking a dedicated Payroll Administrator to enhance our operations in Whitby.

Our organization values a modern approach while maintaining traditional principles, providing a supportive environment for our staff.


Role Overview:


The Payroll Administrator will be an integral part of our team in Whitby, working Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm with a one-hour lunch break.


This position is ideal for an individual with substantial payroll experience, joining a team of 16 professionals.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Managing monthly, weekly, and four-weekly payrolls of varying sizes.
  • Processing over 200 payrolls monthly using Sage Payroll software.
  • Conducting thorough checks of inputs and reviewing payroll outputs.
  • Filing payroll data with HMRC accurately.
  • Handling all payroll elements, including court orders and student loans for client employees.
  • Administering auto-enrollment pension deductions and issuing relevant letters to employees.
  • Addressing all payroll-related inquiries from clients promptly and professionally.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of data accuracy and quality in payroll outputs.

Qualifications:


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a payroll role.
  • Experience with payroll, CIS, and Nest.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • A proven track record of delivering outstanding client service.
  • Flexibility and proactivity in managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in-person and remotely.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in work.
  • The ability to demonstrate initiative in problem-solving.
