We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team at Portfolio Payroll. As a key member of our payroll department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our employees' pay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payrolls, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Enter and verify payroll data, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates or deductions.
  • Process statutory payments, including SSPs, SMPs, PAYE, NP, and BIA.
  • Maintain and update payroll records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to the Finance department.
  • Assist with the year-end payroll process.
  • Stay up to date with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with the HR and Finance teams to improve payroll processes and efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing, ideally within a property or similar environment (5+ years).
  • Experience with cloud-based payroll software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
