About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Channels Director to join our Corporate Communications & External Affairs team at Reckitt. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the global digital strategy for corporate channels, aligning with our corporate communications strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and executing the digital strategy for corporate channels, including audience groups and associated content strategy
  • Establishing an effective content model and principles for corporate-owned digital channels globally and locally
  • Contributing to the Corporate Affairs Editorial Board to ensure prioritization and impact of all communications to employees and stakeholders
  • Advising on reactive communications and creating tactics to mitigate risk, particularly on social media
  • Building digital communications capability of senior leaders and leveraging their personal digital profiles
  • Partnering with External Affairs on key messaging and external opportunities
  • Collaborating with Talent Acquisition to align social and web approaches
  • Developing a high-performing digital communications team with clear objectives, capabilities, and development plans

Requirements

We are looking for a digital communications expert with circa 10+ years of experience in strategic communications planning and execution, external and internal channel optimization, content development, social media management, and content marketing. Strong business acumen and experience operating within a leadership team outside core area of expertise are essential.
