Job Opportunity: Sales Executive

Mploy Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Sales Executive to join their team in Portland, Dorset. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with shippers, identifying sales opportunities, and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with shippers, both domestic and international.
  • Identify sales opportunities and new potential customers through various channels, including sales platforms, door knocking, cold calling, and networking at trade shows.
  • Screen customer needs, approach customers, and demonstrate software and company capabilities.
  • Understand customer requirements and offer advice on suitable freight products, with a view to cross and up-sell, if appropriate.
  • Manage customer data in an efficient and compliant manner within the company's CRM system.
  • Utilize MS Office Package, LinkedIn, Pipedrive, Zint, and the company's proprietary shipping software platform.
  • Travel infrequently to sell or attend trade shows.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in an in-house sales role within a major courier or experience selling services is highly desirable.
  • System savvy and computer literate, with the ability to use MS Office Package, LinkedIn, and other software platforms.
  • UK driving license and own vehicle.

  • Office-based Monday to Friday work with a 37.5 hour per week contract.
