Role Overview:

Are you a skilled communicator with a talent for producing engaging content? As a Marketing Communications Coordinator at 8Bit Studios, you will aid in the formulation and execution of our communication strategies. Your responsibilities will include content creation, social media management, and supporting various communication projects to elevate our brand visibility and engage with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and execution of communication strategies and plans.
  • Develop and refine content for diverse platforms, including social media, websites, newsletters, and press announcements.
  • Oversee social media profiles, including scheduling posts, interacting with followers, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Track and assess communication metrics to measure the success of campaigns.
  • Support the organization and promotion of events, ensuring effective outreach to target demographics.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to maintain consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
  • Assist in the production of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and advertisements.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and competitors to guide communication strategies.
  • Help manage the company's website, ensuring content remains current and engaging.

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a communications or marketing capacity is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and a grasp of social media analytics.
  • Basic understanding of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
