Lead Marketing Communications Strategist

ChampionX is in search of a Senior Specialist in Marketing Communications (Maternity Cover). This position will oversee the creation and implementation of regional marketing communication initiatives in alignment with the Eastern Hemisphere Marketing Communications team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement customer-focused marketing communication campaigns and projects, which include sales materials, advertisements, tradeshow and conference organization, web content, videos, and more, in collaboration with regional marketing teams, sales, RD&E, and other internal partners.
  • Assist in the Eastern Hemisphere marketing communications strategy, working closely with the EH Marketing Communications Manager and other regional leaders.
  • Collaborate with internal Digital Marketing, Creative Services, and Events teams, as well as external contractors and agencies, to develop and execute projects in line with the regional strategy.
  • Aid in the planning and execution of regional tradeshows and customer events, including managing the review and submission process for abstracts, external technical papers, and presentations.
  • Proactively address challenges as they arise.
  • Adhere to and contribute to the continuous enhancement of workflow processes as necessary.
  • Uphold the company brand identity across all developed materials, ensuring brand and trademark standards are consistently maintained in all projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and/or;
  • 4 years of experience in a communications capacity.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capability to quickly establish trust and build strong professional relationships.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SharePoint Online, Adobe Creative Suite, and Adobe Workfront.
  • Previous experience in the oil and gas or specialty chemicals sectors.
