This role is an opportunity to contribute to the strategic heart of everything we deliver for our clients. As a Strategic Marketing Consultant, you will work closely with global senior teams to develop and implement marketing strategies that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and enable clients to achieve their strategic goals and own their space in the market
  • Develop and maintain high-quality marketing strategies that meet client needs and expectations
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges
  • Transform data into meaningful insights and present findings to clients and stakeholders
  • Facilitate brand strategy sessions with client leadership to build consensus and support
  • Support or lead in strategy presentation sessions
  • Defend the agency's values, people, and commercial interests
  • Work closely with Strategy and Creative colleagues to develop and present unique insights, craft brand architecture, and create brand guidelines
Essential Skills
  • B2B marketing communications experience and knowledge, preferably from an agency setting
  • Experience in developing branding and marketing strategies for clients or B2B organizations
  • Presentation skills experience, both written and in person, as well as executive facilitation skills
  • Deep interest in data gathering, interpretation, analysis, and presentation
  • Creative bent: the imagination and skills to draft briefs that reflect the agreed positioning to get the best out of the creative teams
  • Effective customer and stakeholder relationship management skills, including active listening, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and cultivate positive client relationships based on trust
  • Ability to represent the Fifth Ring brand globally
  • Commitment to adhere to predictable delivery schedules
  • Confident ability to respectfully challenge clients and colleagues when necessary and with the goal of delivering the best possible outcome for all
  • Strong written and verbal professional communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree qualified (ideally in strategy, communications, public relations, marketing communications, business management, linguistics, or a related subject) or equivalent professional experience
