About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Marketing Consultant to join our team at Fifth Ring. As a key member of our strategic team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their marketing goals and own their space in the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and enable our clients to achieve their strategic goals through the development and implementation of effective marketing strategies.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research and analysis to identify prospective brand positioning traits in the context of market trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Transform raw data into meaningful insights, complete with supporting evidence, to inform marketing strategies and recommendations.
  • Facilitate brand strategy sessions with client leadership to obtain relevant information and build consensus and support.
  • Support or lead in Strategy presentation sessions to communicate marketing strategies and recommendations to clients.
  • Work closely with Strategy and Creative colleagues to develop and present unique and original insights that succinctly define the client's business/brand.
Essential Skills
  • B2B marketing communications experience and knowledge, preferably from an agency setting.
  • Experience in developing branding and marketing strategies for clients or B2B organisations.
  • Presentation skills experience, both written and in person, as well as executive facilitation skills.
  • A deep interest in data gathering, interpretation, analysis, and presentation.
  • A creative bent: the imagination and skills to draft briefs that reflect the agreed positioning to get the very best out of the creative teams.
  • Effective customer and stakeholder relationship management skills, including active listening, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and cultivate positive client relationships based on trust.
  • Strong written and verbal professional communication skills.
  • Bachelors' Degree qualified (ideally in strategy, communications, public relations, marketing communications, business management, linguistics, or a related subject) or equivalent professional experience.
