HSB Technical Ltd is a leading recruitment agency specializing in the Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Shipping & Energy, and Aerospace industries. We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the role of Proposal Specialist.

Role Overview:
The Proposal Specialist will be responsible for competing in the procurement of projects and contracts at both national and international levels. This role involves engaging with large-scale, intricate, and long-term projects funded by international organizations (such as the World Bank, United Nations, and EU) as well as smaller consultancy firms.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the writing and coordination of company tenders, bids, and proposals.
2. Identify, track, and disseminate public tender opportunities within the organization.
3. Support Project Managers in the management and delivery of proposals.
4. Handle registrations on procurement platforms and update company profiles accordingly.
5. Develop, manage, and submit proposals while ensuring adherence to our internal quality assurance protocols.
6. Manage MEP Peterson mailboxes for tender opportunities.
7. Coordinate with team members and the MEP Technical Oversight Team during proposal evaluations.
8. Collaborate with the Technical Oversight Team to pinpoint strategic opportunities.
9. Assist the Technical Oversight Team in generating operational reports.
10. Aid the Office Manager in maintaining and enhancing proposal databases, including lead trackers, Smart Sheets, Teamwork, and CV/reference databases.
11. Foster relationships with clients and international implementing agencies.
12. Provide support with broader operational tasks as directed by your line manager.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in marine, fisheries, aquaculture, sustainability, biology, or science.
- Project Management qualifications (e.g., CDM) are desirable.
- Completion of bid/tender training courses.
- Proven experience in competitive and time-sensitive tender/bid/proposal writing.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail in bid/tender submissions.
