Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Proposal Coordinator to join our team at Jayco Recruitment. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a crucial role in the production of proposals and bids, working closely with our Bid Manager to deliver high-quality submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce pre-qualification submissions, ensuring all necessary information is included and deadlines are met.
  • Review and understand bid requirements, identifying key deliverables and USPs.
  • Collaborate with the team to prepare and edit bid information, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our business and services, enabling effective proposal development.
  • Manage planning and opportunities, including creating and storing information on our document management system.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, working closely with our Bid Manager to develop and pursue leads.
  • Liaise with clients and consultants to gather information and promote our services.
  • Organize events and functions to showcase our expertise and build relationships.
  • Oversee opportunity tracking and pipeline management, ensuring timely and effective proposal development.
  • Support the Bid Manager in the development of presentation documentation and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with our PR company to maximize publicity and promote our services.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts in each region, ensuring a thorough understanding of the business and services.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and numerical skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and flexible approach.
  • Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities.
