Within our Global Commercial Services (GCS) business group, the Corporate Program Product Development (CPPD) team is dedicated to crafting cutting-edge products that cater to the diverse needs of small businesses, medium enterprises, and large corporations. We focus on developing groundbreaking business financing and supplier payment solutions, bringing new products to market, and ensuring the success of our existing portfolios.
We are seeking a driven Senior Product Owner to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Business Travel Account (BTA) product.
As a global leader in centrally billed travel and expense payment solutions, BTA requires a dedicated individual who can understand and respond to evolving market demands. This role will be instrumental in sustaining and accelerating BTA's growth by defining and refining features that prioritize compliance, transformation, and global consistency.
Your Impact:
- You will be responsible for understanding and validating client needs and market opportunities, translating those insights into actionable features and user stories.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure the successful development and delivery of new product capabilities using Agile software development methodologies.
- Lead production validation testing and issue management processes, working hand-in-hand with scrum teams to ensure high-quality product releases.
- Communicate decisions and rationale effectively, demonstrating strong leadership and the ability to make informed choices even in complex situations.
- Leverage your understanding of technology (prior experience in commercial, B2B solutions, and virtual payment capabilities is a plus) to contribute valuable insights to the development process.
- Demonstrate proven project management experience, leading complex projects and collaborating with global and virtual teams to achieve successful software development outcomes.
- Identify and synthesize industry trends to provide data-driven analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Multiple years of experience in product development, including proven success as a product owner working directly with scrum teams.
- Exceptional ability to translate business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify and address complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
