About the Role

We're seeking a high-performing Senior Java/Kotlin Software Engineer to join our Buyer Initiated Payments (BIP) team in Global Commercial Services. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll partner closely with product owners to design and build scalable software solutions that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop clean, tested, and monitored scalable code
  • Analyze business features and user stories to refine with product owners
  • Perform technical aspects of software development, including writing new code and creating APIs
  • Work with quality engineers to ensure automated test scripts are incorporated for new features

Requirements

  • Good experience working with JVM-based languages (Java and/or Kotlin)
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Rest APIs
  • Familiarity with Microservice Architecture and API design
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and NoSQL databases
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience using test libraries
  • Familiarity working in an Agile environment
