About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Adult ADHD and Autism Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based care to service users within the adult ADHD service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Direct provision of high-quality, person-centered physical and mental health care to service users within the adult ADHD service.
  • Leadership in the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective care to the wider multi-disciplinary team.
  • Facilitation of learning through the development and delivery of specialist clinically focused education and training programs.
  • Assessment of service users' healthcare needs, based on highly developed nursing knowledge and skills, including physical examination skills.
  • Planning and coordination of physical healthcare needs of service users in the community service, including annual physical examinations and investigations.

Person Specification
  • Essential qualifications: RMN or RN (Mental Health), Advanced Clinical Practice MSc, Independent prescribing qualification.
  • Essential experience: evidence of working effectively at a senior level in a community multi-disciplinary health and social care setting (mental health), experience of working with a range of statutory and non-statutory agencies, evidence of promoting research, evidence-based practice, clinical excellence, and quality approaches to support outcome-focused care.
  • Desirable experience: experience of working with adults with ADHD and/or Autism.
