About the Role:

The University of Leeds is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Membership Services Assistant to join our team. As a key member of the Membership Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, processing membership applications, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process membership applications, renewals, and cancellations in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide excellent customer service to members, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist with the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date membership records, including databases and spreadsheets
  • Support the Membership Team with administrative tasks, such as data entry, mailings, and reports
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of membership services

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a membership or sales environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
