Ripple is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead its digital asset trading unit and DeFi ecosystem.

As part of our mission to revolutionize the global financial system, we are looking for an experienced professional with a deep understanding of financial markets and trading to drive strategic initiatives and partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Direction: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for Ripple's digital asset trading vertical, focusing on liquidity provision and innovative trading solutions.
  • Performance Management: Oversee management processes around reporting, budgets, and compliance.
  • Investment Strategy: Drive investments in key infrastructure projects to enhance capabilities and reduce dependencies.
  • Balance Sheet Optimization: Develop processes for active balance sheet trades in digital and fiat assets.
  • Risk Mitigation: Design and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Market Expansion: Lead Ripple's penetration into DeFi and Stablecoins markets.
  • Strategic Alliances: Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with key financial institutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with Ripple's product offerings.

Requirements:

  • Academic Background: Advanced Degree in economics, statistics, physics, applied math, or a related field preferred.
  • Professional Experience: 12+ years in the financial industry with a minimum of 5 years in trading departments.
  • Market Expertise: Deep understanding of financial markets products and derivatives.
  • Cryptocurrency Knowledge: Familiarity with crypto infrastructure players and protocols.
  • Decision Making: Ability to process complex information quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • Risk, Governance & Compliance: Strong understanding of operational risk and compliance regulations.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
