Key Responsibilities:- Pre-Operative Assessments: Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments to ensure patients are prepared for surgical procedures.
- Visual Testing and Imaging: Utilize auto-refractors and ophthalmic imaging devices to support patient care and diagnosis.
- Medical Record Management: Maintain and update patient health records and files in compliance with medical standards and policies.
- Patient Care Coordination: Participate in the assessment of patient care needs and ensure agreed standards of care are met.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest clinical knowledge and skills relevant to ophthalmology and surgical care.
- Qualifications: Registered HCA Scrub Nurse or Registered Scrub Nurse or Registered Ophthalmic ODP.
- Experience: Knowledge and experience of ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgical procedures.
- Pension Scheme: We offer a comprehensive pension scheme to support your financial well-being.
- Sick Pay: You will be entitled to sick pay (10 days per 12-month period).
- Holiday Allowance: Enjoy a generous holiday allowance (33 days per year including bank holidays).
