On-Trade Regional Sales Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced On-Trade Regional Sales Manager to join our team at MacGregor Black. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and profitability in the on-trade sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive regional profitability and meet business targets.
  • Build and Manage Business Relationships
    • Build and manage a robust business pipeline through new customer acquisition and effective account management.
  • Identify and Engage with Potential Customers
    • Identify and engage with potential on-trade customers, such as bars, restaurants, and hotels.
  • Create and Deliver Sales Pitches
    • Create impactful sales pitches, lead negotiations, and secure customer contracts.
  • Maintain Strong Customer Relationships
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with on-trade customers, understanding their needs to ensure satisfaction.
  • Network and Stay Informed
    • Network with brand owners and distributor sales teams to build market intelligence and awareness.
  • Monitor Market Trends
    • Monitor market trends and industry developments to stay informed about the on-trade sector.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams
    • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain a high level of customer service.

Requirements

  • Proven Sales Experience
    • Proven success in business development, sales, or account management in the on-trade sector.
  • Industry Knowledge
    • Strong knowledge of the Midlands hospitality scene with a network of contacts.
  • Key Skills
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
    • Proficient in CRM software and relevant sales tools.
    • Willingness to travel as required.
