POSITION OVERVIEW

DMC Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and driven Consultant Radiologist who has completed subspecialty training in diagnostic neuroradiology to become part of our team.

Necessary qualifications, experience, and competencies include:

  • Full registration with the GMC
  • CCT in Radiology and/or registration on the Specialist Register in Clinical Radiology
  • Completion of general training in Radiology and Diagnostic Neuroradiology at a recognized institution
  • Expertise and skills in a subspecialty of neuroradiology, with a desire to further develop these areas
  • A commitment to engaging in clinical governance and audit initiatives
  • Flexibility in working hours and locations, allowing for a personalized work-life balance.

WORK LOCATION

Remote

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate closely with clinical, allied medical, and managerial teams to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
  • Ensure all activities comply with contractual obligations and the Trust's operational policies.
  • Alongside fellow Consultant Neuroradiologists, deliver a premium diagnostic neuroradiology service, sharing responsibility for service coverage.
  • Participate in audit initiatives.
  • Assist in the management of the neuroradiology department and the broader clinical radiology care group.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential Qualifications & Training

  • Primary medical degree
  • FRCR or equivalent qualification
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council and a valid license to practice
  • Inclusion on the Specialist Register or eligibility for registration within 6 months of the interview
