All responsibilities will be fulfilled through remote work, offering flexible working arrangements.

POSITION OVERVIEW

DMC Healthcare is in search of a proactive and driven Consultant Radiologist who has completed subspecialty training in diagnostic neuroradiology to join our esteemed team.

Necessary qualifications, experience, and competencies include:

  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Radiology and/or registration on the Specialist Register in Clinical Radiology
  • Completion of general training in Radiology and Diagnostic Neuroradiology at a recognized institution
  • Experience and expertise in a subspecialty area of neuroradiology, with a willingness to further develop these skills
  • Awareness of and readiness to engage in clinical governance and audit initiatives
  • Flexible working hours to suit personal preferences.

WORK LOCATION

Remote

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate closely with clinical, allied medical, and managerial colleagues to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
  • Ensure all work complies with contractual obligations and aligns with the Trust's operational policies.
  • Alongside fellow Consultant Neuroradiologists, deliver a top-tier diagnostic neuroradiology service, sharing responsibility for service coverage.
  • Participate in audit programs to enhance service quality.
  • Assist in the management of the neuroradiology department and the broader clinical radiology care group.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential Qualifications & Training

  • Primary medical degree
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) or equivalent
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council, including a valid license to practice
  • Inclusion on the Specialist Register or eligibility for registration within six months of the interview
