ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
We are seeking an individual who is dedicated to enhancing DMC Healthcare's service offerings within our Radiology Service Team and the broader organization. This role provides an opportunity to engage in impactful decisions that shape our patient care.
The successful candidate must exhibit professional excellence and the capability to deliver safe and effective healthcare. Continuous professional development is essential, and the post holder will be expected to keep their skills and knowledge current.
This position allows for off-site work, with flexible scheduling options.
POSITION OVERVIEW
DMC Healthcare is in search of a proactive and driven Consultant Radiologist who has completed subspecialty training in diagnostic neuroradiology to join our esteemed team.
Key qualifications, experience, and competencies required include:
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Radiology and/or inclusion on the Specialist Register in Clinical Radiology
- Completion of general training in Radiology and Diagnostic Neuroradiology at a recognized institution
- Experience and proficiency in a subspecialty area of neuroradiology, with a commitment to further development
- A willingness to engage in clinical governance and audit initiatives
- Flexibility in work hours and location
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Remote
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with clinical, allied medical, and managerial teams to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
- Conduct all activities in compliance with contractual obligations and the Trust's operational policies.
- Alongside fellow Consultant Neuroradiologists, provide a comprehensive diagnostic neuroradiology service, sharing responsibility for service coverage.
- Participate in audit initiatives.
- Assist in the management of the neuroradiology department and the broader clinical radiology care group.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Essential Qualifications & Training
- Primary medical degree
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) or equivalent
- Full registration with the General Medical Council, including a valid license to practice
- Inclusion on the Specialist Register or eligibility for registration within six months of the interview
