Breast Radiology Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologist to join our Breast Imaging team at NHS Tayside. As a Breast Radiology Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of breast imaging services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including breast surgeons, pathologists, and specialist nurses, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of breast imaging and patient care.
- Provide education and training to medical and non-medical staff, as well as undergraduate medical and healthcare students.
- Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols for breast imaging services.
- Registration with the GMC and Specialist Register, or within 6 months of anticipated award of CCT or CESR.
- Experience in breast radiology symptomatic services and preferably in breast screening and assessment.
- Strong clinical background in breast imaging and diagnostic radiology.
