Job Title: Breast Radiologist Consultant
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Breast Radiologist Consultant to join our team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive breast and general radiology services, including the provision of a range of multidisciplinary team (MDT) and on-call services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive breast and general radiology services, including the provision of MDT and on-call services.
- Share an office with another colleague and participate in symptomatic One Stop Breast clinics, Breast biopsy clinics.
- Report breast MRI, cross-sectional images performed on the MRI and CT scanners at the CDC and at King George's and Queen's Hospital.
- Participate in the development, organization, and management of radiology services.
- Comply with all the trust and departmental policies in relation to job planning, appraisal and leave.
- Ensure mandatory training is up to date as per the trust policy.
Person Specification:
- MB BS or equivalent
- FRCR or equivalent
- Fellowship/ equivalent experience in Breast Radiology
Desirable Qualifications:
- MRCP/MRCS
- Be on the specialist register or within six months of entry at the time of interview.
