Branch Manager

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Oxford location and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals to achieve sales, gross margin, and other key business targets.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective branch account management.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and their specialty areas of practice.
- Manage customer and project pricing, including inflation and price increases, to improve margin.
- Develop and maintain individual customer and branch sales plans, and customer retention of trading accounts.
- Work closely with manufacturers and distributors to ensure a strong understanding of our requirements and expectations.
- Manage trading within account limits and support customer credit control.
- Lead and motivate a branch team to achieve success.
- Manage all aspects of underperformance and ensure effective completion of day-to-day branch functions.
- Conduct regular staff performance reviews and manage a fleet of vehicles in accordance with company guidelines.
- Proven ability to develop existing and new business.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a branch team.
- A proven record of improving profitable business performance.
- Strong influencing skills and excellent organisational skills.
- Proven track record of problem resolution.
- Strong business acumen.
- A focus on results and sales-driven.
