**Job Title:** Senior Children's Residential Care Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Children's Residential Care Manager to join our team at Esland. As a Senior Children's Residential Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in our residential care homes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the childcare team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to children.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure the care and support provided is meeting the needs of each child.
  • Work closely with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting children.
  • Ensure that all aspects of childcare are delivered in accordance with Ofsted regulations and best practice.
  • Provide training and support to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the residential care homes.

**Requirements:**

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a children's residential care home.
  • A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or at least 50% complete).
  • A full driving license issued in the UK.
  • A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities.
  • Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice.
  • Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centered approach to childcare.
  • Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above.
