About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Children's Care Worker at Esland Care. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of childcare expertise and a passion for working with young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality childcare and support to young people in a residential care setting
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each young person
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe and nurturing environment
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure best practice in childcare
Requirements
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
  • A level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or at least 50% complete)
  • A Full driving licence issued in the UK
  • A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities
  • Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice
  • Values in line with Esland Care's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centered approach to childcare
  • Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
