We are seeking experienced and dedicated individuals to join our team as Senior Children's Residential Care Workers. As a key member of our team, you will provide outstanding levels of childcare and support to our young people, enabling them to achieve amazing outcomes.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a nurturing and therapeutic approach to childcare. You will work closely with our team to provide a secure and supportive environment for our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality childcare and support to our young people
  • Work collaboratively with our team to promote the well-being and development of our young people
  • Develop and implement individual care plans to meet the needs of our young people
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential care home
  • A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or close to completion)
  • A full driving license issued in the UK
  • A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities
  • Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice
  • Values aligned with Esland's, including a therapeutic and person-centred approach to childcare
  • Aged 21 or above
