Join Our Team as a Senior Children's Adventure Care Worker

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Children's Adventure Care Worker. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our young people, enabling them to achieve amazing outcomes.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to providing a nurturing and peaceful environment for our young people. You will be working in a new, two-bed service that provides immediate intervention and trauma-informed, therapeutic support. Over a 12-week placement, our young people will receive security, support, and stabilisation, with access to education and participation in outdoor/adventure activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to our young people, enabling them to achieve amazing outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to provide a nurturing and peaceful environment.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans that meet the needs of our young people.
  • Participate in outdoor/adventure activities and provide opportunities for our young people to engage in these activities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our service's policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential care home.A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or close to completion).A full driving licence issued in the UK.A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities.Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice.Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare.Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above.What We Offer
